Fruit Cocktail Cake
FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE (Easy and good)
1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 small can fruit cocktail, 1 egg
Sift together dry ingredients. Drain half the juice out of fruit cocktail and add the fruit cocktail with rest of juice to the dry ingredients. Add egg and stir together well. Do not use mixer. Pour into well-greased 9×9” pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 c brown sugar and 1/2 c chopped pecans. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream. (If you double this, bake 45 minutes.)
